Predictions on Covid-19 in the Coming Weeks

Corona Virus originated in China and spread to entire world. Almost all the countries are effected with heavy rate even in advanced countries. Its increase gradually in some areas and it is sharp in the rest. In order to have reasonably good prediction of its increase, intensive investigations are made to predict its spreading in the next few weeks. Based on the available data over the last few weeks, the data is extrapolated using higher order polynomial. The computed results presented in this paper are sufficiently accurate to know what will happen in future.

Comprehensive background on COVID-19 and predictions in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra

Covid -19 created tremendous impact on entire human life. It resulted in huge changes in way of life. In order to
contain its effect Government of India and Each State government have taken lot of measures. In this connection,
intensive studies are carried out to present the comprehensive data on number of tests conducted, confirmed,
active, recovered and deaths in A.P. and Maharashtra over the last 10 days. Based on this, some predictions are
numerically computed and presented in this paper to have an idea of variations in the near future. The results are
useful to take necessary measures in advance to contain Covid effect in a better way.

RADIATION CHARACTERISTICS of 4 ELEMENT SLOTTED WAVEGUIDE ARRAY

This paper gives an insight on Rectangular SWA.To achieve enhanced performance of the
waveguide, slots are introduced in the proposed model. It is designed to operate in the
frequency range of 2GHz to 4GHz which falls under S-Band, while the operating frequency
is chosen to be 3GHz. A radio wire has been implanted on the WR284 substrate with a
dimension of 72.136mm*34.036mm.Design and analysis procedure is performed through the
commercially available CST, which is in good agreement with experimental results.
Simulated results show the far field radiation and directivity at the operating frequency.

Effective Analysis of Waveguide Slot Array

Waveguide slot arrays are useful in different radar applications due to their compactness several
works are reported in the open literature on such structures. However, most of the works are confined using
the conventional techniques and hence computationally expensive and they are not exact. In view of these,
intensive and investigation are carried out to bring out the results of effective analysis in the present work.
The arrays of present interest are 4 slotted arrays. These slots are cut in the broad-wall of rectangular
waveguide and they are displaced for its central line. The slots are separated by a resonant spacing and the
slots have a finite width. The present analysis is based on CST Microwave studio which is basically a 3D
electromagnetic simulator.

Compact and Mutual Coupling Reduced ResonanceBased Reflector Antenna for Electromagnetic Imaging Applications

In this paper MIMO antenna based on RBR reflector with Dipole as elements is designed. The
single Dipole antenna considered for the analysis operates at 1.7GHz frequency. It is placed on dielectric
substrate FR4 (epoxy) to form the antenna. Many of the researchers have a great interest on the thorax area
as disease related to the heart, lungs and liver of human body. By using several unidirectional and WB
antennas it is possible to track information about targets which are present inside the thorax and around its
perimeter. The main challenge is designing an antenna which operates at lower frequency 1GHz, compact in
size, mutual coupling free. performance will be enhanced by reducing its mutual coupling and also
achieving good isolation between the radiating elements with the help of RBR structure placed in MIMO &
the comparative analysis of the MIMO antenna with and without RBR structure, presented with the help of
return loss, radiation pattern, isolation S21, current distribution and other antenna parameters.

Design and Analysis of Metamaterial Inspired Wearable Antenna for 2.45 GHz ISM Band

A metamaterial (MTM) inspired wearable antenna for 2.45GHz ISM band is presented in this paper. The radiating element is designed using a rectangular patch having π shaped slot, this structure resembles metamaterial like geometry. The strip line for feed is altered to match the impedance for better performance. The proposed antenna design consists partial ground and four metamaterial unit cells under the radiating element in the same plane as ground. The MTM unit cells are designed using square shaped patches with inverted U shaped slots. The metamaterial are placed on top of the jeans cloth. The MTM unit cells helped in achieving the reduction of the specific absorption rate (SAR). The performance of the proposed antenna is presented using comparative simulated analysis like reflection coefficient, VSWR, radiation patterns and other antenna parameters for without MTM and with MTM cases. The suitability of the antenna for wearable application presented with the help of simulated analysis comparison for off-body and on-body conditions.

Comprehensive Background of Antennas for Modern & State of Art Applications

An antenna is well known device for all wireless communications, which include all types of telecommunications, Radars, Wi-Fi, RFID, IOT, Automobiles, TV and mobile communications. Without one type of antenna or the other, telecommunication does not exist. The types of antennas are many in number. Its size depends on frequency of operation, space requirements, type of application, desired polarization, type of radiation patterns, directivity, gain and VSWR requirements. The literature on antenna devices for communication and radar applications is sufficiently reported. However, the antennas used for RFID, IOT, Wi-Fi, Mobile handsets, Mobile towers and automobiles are not adequately reported in the open literature.

        In view of these facts, intensive studies are carried out to consolidate the background of antennas useful for the above applications. The work of this paper is highly useful for the antenna designers, users and analysts.

"Synthesis of Radiation Patterns of Arrays with Defined Sidelobe Structure Using Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization"

Pattern synthesis from array antennas has become a commonly problem to address. Several standard and conventional techniques are available in the literature for the above purpose. Depending on the desired shape of the pattern, the methods are chosen for example, Taylor considered a continuous line sources and generated narrow beams with the desired sidelobe levels of equal height close to the main beam. Elliot has reported a method to generate unsymmetrical patterns. There are some applications where the restricted sidelobes in the mid of the sidelobe region are required. To generate such patterns, no work is available in the literature. In view, of this intensive investigations are carried out to generate such patterns. Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization is applied to optimize the above patterns. The simulated patterns are presented for both small and large arrays.

Drone Assisted Artificial Rains

India is an agro-based country. It is estimated that seventy two percent of Indian economy is through agriculture. Within the past thirty years our country faced a lot of water scarcity not only for agriculture but also domestic, Industrial and commercial sectors. No country could survive if sufficient amount of water is not available for
agriculture in specific. Effective utilization of available water resources, Conjunction of
rivers for preventing wasteful flow of river waters in to sea, desalting of rivers from time
to time are being followed. Besides in scanty areas of rain fall like, Anatapur, Cudapah,
Rayalseema ,Nalagonda areas in Andhra Pradesh and dry areas in our country, Artificial
raining methods were adopted. But still the problem could not be solved. Therefore, there
was a need to think about the failures in the present systems in practice and at the same
time to think novel ways of applying technologies available for increasing rainfall. In this
paper, we have proposed a new idea of getting Artificial rains using Drones. We have
described how it can be used, how effective it is compared to the existing practices and
economical advantages.

Pattern synthesis using real coded genetic algorithm and accelerated particle swarm optimization

An antenna pattern synthesis is one of the most important

problems to be addressed in all communication and radar
applications. Real Coded Genetic Algorithm and Accelerated
Particle Swarm Optimization are useful to solve such
problems. In the present work, these algorithms are applied to
optimize the sum patterns. They are optimized in terms of side
lobe levels and main beamwidth. Amplitude distributions are
numerically computed using Real Coded Genetic Algorithm
and Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization algorithms. The
resultant distributions are introduced for the arrays of discrete
radiators. Small and large arrays are designed. The patterns
are presented in u domain and it has been possible to control
side lobe level as per the specifications.

Pattern Synthesis using Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization

Several conventional techniques including standard amplitude distributions like uniform,
cosine on pedestal, circular, parabolic, triangular and trapezoidal are reported in literature for
pattern synthesis over the last few decades. Taylor has reported synthesis of sum pattern from a
line source. None of the patterns reported by the above technique are optimal in terms of
sidelobes and beamwidth. However, it is possible to optimize the pattern using state of the art
algorithms. In this paper, Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is applied to
optimize the sum patterns. The realized patterns are compared with those of Taylor. It is evident
from the results that patterns obtained from Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization are better
than those of Taylor in terms of sidelobes and beamwidth.

Antenna Array Design Metaheuristics Algorithm for EMC Applications

The standard mobile communication and RADARS increased the standard of life, helping the economy to develop for all the countries. The above important systems operate using one type of the antenna or the other. It is a terminal device, without which the above systems cannot work. It is, therefore of interest, to investigate on the design of some of the important antenna arrays optimally for using in RADAR and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) applications in the present work. Antenna radiation pattern structure is one of the most important specifications in all applications. The work is centred around the pattern synthesis. The arrays are designed to generate required patterns. The work is carried out to generate narrow beams with restricted sidelobe level using Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm and Accelerated Particle Swarm Optimization. The work is also undertaken to synthesize unsymmetric patterns for using with the RADARS used in sea vessel to overcome roll and pitch of the ship due to turbulent waters. it has been possible to control the sidelobes to the desired levels anywhere in visible region.
